As the second quarter of 2024 wraps up, we've seen some interesting trends in the city-building game category on Android devices. Here's how the top 5 contenders have fared over the past three months, with data provided by Sensor Tower.

States Builder: Trade Empire from SayGames Ltd saw a fluctuating trend in revenue, peaking at $89K in early April and dipping to $22K in mid-June. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 400K to 500K, with a notable spike to 784K in late May. Weekly active users grew significantly from 908K to 1.4M by early June.

Puzzles & Chaos: Frozen Castle by 37GAMES experienced its highest revenue in mid-June at $952K. Downloads surged in late May to 702K, while weekly active users increased consistently, reaching 1M by the end of June.

CASUAL AZUR GAMES' State Connect: Traffic Control had no revenue to report, but downloads saw a remarkable rise from 629K in early June to 1.1M in the following week. Weekly active users also saw a sharp increase, from 581K to over 1.5M by mid-June.
